Your commitment to us
When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Standalone Farm and yourself.
No contract exists between you and Standalone Farm for the sale of any tickets until we have received and accepted your order and received payment in full. Once cleared funds are received, there is a binding contract between us.
Prices
Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes and there are no surcharges whatsoever. Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets. Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.
Limitation of Liability
Standalone Farm’s total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.
The limitation on any exclusion from liability contained in these conditions shall be subject to the provisions of second 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
Standalone Farm will not be liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by the occurrence of any unseen event beyond its reasonable control including without limitation Internet and Communication outages, fire, flood, war or act of God.
Severance
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
Day Tickets
Refunds & Cancellations
Please carefully check your selections before completing your purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations.
Tickets are only transferable to an alternative date or time if you contact Standalone Farm directly via email - info@standalonefarm.com at least 48 hours before the date you originally booked to visit – the date will be on your booking confirmation. We cannot guarantee that we can change the date of your visit but we will make reasonable efforts to do so as long as you contact us more than 48 hours before your scheduled visit date.
You agree and understand that we may need to change, withdraw and alter any bookings at any time in exceptional circumstances. We will use your email address and/or telephone number to try to let you know in these instances.
Online Booking & Tickets
Once purchased tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold.
Any discounts or offers online are available for limited quantities and periods only and shall not be available on bookings made on the day in person.
Tickets purchased online are only valid on the date for which they were purchased.
Prices are correct at time of going to press and are subject to change without notification.
If you have purchased a ticket online, you will need to bring a copy of your ticket with you. The barcode on your ticket confirmation will be scanned upon entry so please either print a legible copy of your ticket confirmation, or if your email is on a smartphone, you can use that to show your ticket booking confirmation.
A £1.50 booking fee will be added to each online transaction.
Children aged 15 and under must always be accompanied by a parent on site.
Annual Passes
Standalone Farm Annual Passes are valid for use for 12 months from the date of issue, during our season and normal opening times. Last admissions are half an hour before closing time (4:30pm).
The Annual Pass is valid only for the person named on the card and must be presented by the cardholder on arrival at the Farm. Named people on your Annual Pass cannot be changed after the date of purchase.
An Annual Family Pass is valid for two adults and up to three children. Any child who will turn the age of two years old during the period of validity for the Family Pass will be counted as one of the three children.
Annual Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable and have no cash value. Annual Passes remain the property of Standalone Farm and may be withdrawn, altered or changed at any time without notice.
The personal data and identity photographs of Annual Pass holders will be held securely and not sold, disclosed please see our Privacy Policy. Refusal to have your photo placed on record may result in the application for the pass being declined.
The management of Standalone Farm reserve the right to refuse an Annual Pass to customers.
When applying for a single named pass on behalf of a child, an adults name and address must be supplied for all correspondence.
Replacement Annual Pass cards incur a £1 charge per card.
Annual Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offers or vouchers.
To purchase a Childminder pass applicants will need to produce a valid Ofstead card or certificate.
These terms and conditions are listed in addition to the standard rules of entry to Standalone Farm. On all matters, the decisions of the Farm Management will be final.
Birthday Party Barn Hire – Terms and Conditions
By booking the barn at Standalone Farm, the hirer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Hire Period
The barn is hired for a 3-hour party period. An additional 1 hour is provided free of charge to allow time for setting up and cleaning.
The total time on site must not exceed 4 hours unless purchased and confirmed in advance.
2. Deposit
A £50 refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The deposit will be returned after the event once the barn has been inspected and it has been confirmed that:

The space has been left clean and tidy

No damage has occurred

All equipment and fixtures remain in good condition
If additional cleaning or repairs are required, the deposit may be partially or fully retained.
3. Cleaning and Condition of the Barn
The barn must be returned in the same condition it was provided.
This includes:

Removing all decorations, food, and personal items

Placing rubbish in the bins provided

Wiping down tables and surfaces if required
Failure to leave the barn in a reasonable condition may result in the deposit being withheld.
4. Damage or Breakages
The hirer accepts responsibility for any damage, breakages, or loss of property caused by guests during the hire period.
Standalone Farm reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs if these exceed the deposit amount.
5. Supervision
Children must be supervised by responsible adults at all times.
The hirer is responsible for the behaviour and safety of all guests attending the event.
6. Capacity
The barn has a maximum capacity of 50 people and this limit must not be exceeded.
7. Decorations
Decorations are permitted but must not cause damage to walls, beams, or fixtures.
Items such as paint, nails, screws, or strong adhesives are not permitted. Candles, naked flames, and balloons are not permitted within the barn under any circumstances.
8. Food, Drink and Storage
As this is a dry hire, the hirer is responsible for providing their own food, drinks, and party supplies. There is no refrigerated storage.
9. Liability
Standalone Farm accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.
10. End of Hire
All guests and belongings must leave the barn by the end of the 4-hour hire period.
Additional charges may apply if the hire extends beyond the agreed time.
11. Cancellation
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking time will be charged the full hire fee.
Standalone Farm reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
12. Farm Rules
The hirer and all guests must adhere to Standalone Farm’s general rules and policies while on site.
This includes, but is not limited to, areas outside the barn, pathways, livestock areas, and parking.
