This May, Standalone Farm is bringing you closer than ever to the amazing creatures that usually stay hidden from view. Educational Encounters: Wildlife in May invites children and families to meet an exciting line‑up of lizards, mini‑beasts, and wonderfully weird creepy crawlies in a safe, friendly, and interactive setting hosted by our resident exotic animal specialist, Mark Amey.
What to Expect
- Meet real animals, learn how they move, eat, and survive, and discover what makes each species so extraordinary.
- Children can observe textures, colours, and behaviours while our resident expert, Mark Amey, shares fascinating facts and answer curious questions.
- Perfect for young explorers who love nature, animals, and discovering the unexpected.
- A wild twist on the traditional May outing, blending education with excitement for the whole family.
- Each show will last approximately 30 mins, with a photo opportunity afterwards.
- The recommended age for the show is 3+
- The show will be held in our barn, which is enclosed and protected from wet weather.
- All tickets are non-refundable and will take place in all weathers.
